| This elegant solid Burr Thuya singing bird box automaton is one of the new models from Reuge of Switzerland. Reuge companies have made these singing birds continuously since the 1800s (Reuge purchased Bontems and Eschle in the 1900s). Reuge continues to dazzle the market with the incredible detail on their birds (feathered with antique hummingbird feathers). In the past few years they have also introduced excellent innovations on the mechanisms. The lid of the box closes slowly now, the start button engages with just the lightest touch, and Reuge recently introduced a long awaited new song for their birds.
